SARTS Meeting May 2019

Perhaps due to the rain, as well as the school vacations, the turnout at this month’s meeting was exceptionally poor.

There was no talk this month, so the committee members were the main “actors”. There were quite a few new happenings on the ham scene and the various members took the floor to inform the others.

Visitors from Austria Wolfgang OE3GXW and XYL Christa OE3YHL were happy to talk about the visit and their ham activities.

SARTS AGM Feb 2019

It’s the AGM again.

So happy to see OM Frank 9V1OK again.

Members happy to eyeball again with old friends.

We observed 1 minute silence for past President Joe Seah 9V1NQ who had just gone silent key at the age of 94.

We had an election for members to serve on the Council.

Everybody deep in concentration.    

Jothi donated some equipment for sale to members. All proceeds were donated to SARTS.

Our new President Jothi 9V1JN addresses the members on plans for the next work year.

Kurita-San 9V1XX gave a talk on his visit to the German Ham Fair at Friedrichshafen.

Please note that there will be no meeting next month, and the Jan 2019 meeting will be held on 24 Jan instead of 31 Jan.

SARTS Meeting Sep 2018

This month’s meeting saw a lot of old friends whom we had not seen for some time.

Koichi 9V1KK came to say goodbye to all the old friends in SARTS.

The highlight of the evening was James 9V1YC ‘s talk on the Baker Island DXedition, in which he took part in June this year.

SARTS Meeting Aug 2018

Meeting was held at the usual QTH.

We were happy to see old friend Shiro 9V1PW who came to say hello. His QTH is now in Japan.

All members were happy to meet again after one month.
